Baby Preparations

We seem to have fallen into a state of “wait” here at home. Basically, we’re ready. All that’s left now is for the baby to come. The number of contractions Chantale has begun to feel recently has definitely increased in both intensity and number. We’re really not worried. When he decides to make his entrance, we’ll go with the flow and let it happen. It’s so inevitable that we can “feel” it in the air. In fact, a part of me really does wonder if we’ll last two more weeks! In the meantime, we’ll continue to try to rest as much as possible (not entirely an easy task considering the amount of pain she’s in – especially being unable to find a decently comfortable resting position).

At any rate, we wanted to finally upload the last few pictures of the room now that it’s finished. Remember, click the images if you want to see larger pictures!

An Angel Stands Over... An Angel Stands Over…
The Angel painting was a gift I gave Chantale many years ago. As it watched over her while we were dating, it’ll now watch over our baby as he sleeps 🙂
Rainy Day Pooh! Rainy Day Pooh!
Every baby room needs a touch of the Hundred Acre Woods! This was the first special-edition Honeypot Pooh Plate – destined to adorn future baby rooms as it did past ones 🙂
Baby Commode Baby Commode
The wonderful, sturdy, and beautiful changing table/ commode. An Angel lamp gives it a touch more of love. Also pictured, a shower gift painted by a friend of a nursing mother.
