We got back home last night at around 9:30pm. A two-day round-trip to Toronto/Guelph for a funeral totalling over 22 hours in a car, driving in some pretty rotten weather left us all physically and emotionally exhausted. Kyle was a real trouper and no one can fault his finally having had enough at around 7pm last night. After a really deep sleep last night, he was in great spirits this morning. I finally got over 3 hours straight sleep after 3 nights of 1 to 2 hour rotational naps.
Today, back at work. Brain not fully functioning. After all we went through this week, it’s really difficult to get back in the swing of things. Plus, I miss my family something terribly fierce…
