Can you believe this was a relaxing weekend for us? I almost can’t! But, sure enough, it happened just so!
Friday night, I took Chantale to Moe’s Deli & Bar and enjoyed ourselves a great meal. Afterwards, we chilled at home with me reading and her playing Sims Bustin Out. Saturday, we basically lounged most of the day, only getting out of bed after noon! 🙂 We went biking around the island and after some cleaning up, I decided to make supper.
Supper consisted of: Quiche entrees, Coquile St. Jacques as an appetizer, Jumbo Garlic Shrimp, Bacon-Wrapped Scallops, and Wild Rice as the main course, with a wonderful bottle of chilled Bin 25 Australian Chardonnay. Hazlenut Coffee and Raspberry Sorbet followed for dessert. Mmmm 🙂 Needless to say, Chantale was quite flattered and pampered by the attention 🙂
Sunday was also quite relaxed with some shopping and work around the house. Supper was provided by Chantale’s folks who came over with steaks and sugar pie! 🙂 Very, very, very tasty! Afterwards, I put on some Dominican Republic French Vanilla coffee and we had that with the pie and Sorbet. The evening was spent chatting on the patio, sipping our coffee and enjoying a couple of Garcia Vegas cigars 🙂 (yes, Francisco, I still had a couple left 🙂 )
So now, it’s Monday, and work continues. My mind is still a-flutter with so many questions but I’m setting up a meeting to get some answers. Maybe once that’s done I can actually talk more about it here 🙂
