As some of you may know, I’m “tutoring” one of my employees in English Writing. On a weekly basis, I give her assignments she needs to complete. This week’s assignment was one on describing favorite fruits and vegetables. She ended up turning it into a meme 🙂 So, I figured I’d follow-it up, too! 🙂
Favorite Fruit: oooh. What a toss-up between Grapes and Mangos! I can eat tons of either one!! Oh boy.. I just remembered Pineapples, too… Mmmm…. Okay, I’ll go with Mangos as they are such a treat! 🙂
Favorite Vegetable: With or without dip? 🙂 With dip: Carrots. Without dip:… steamed carrots in brown sugar! 🙂
Favorite Dessert: Can I say “anything chocolate, especially dark chocolate” ? That way I cover all the basis 🙂 Otherwise… how about Ice Cream cake? 🙂
Favorite song: Another toughie. I have one for almost every mood. An overall fav? Since I can’t pick just one from the Beatles’ set… I’ll go with Leaving on a Jet Plane as sung by Chantal Kreviazuk for the very special meaning it has for me.
Favorite book: Again, so many to choose from… If I must pick one, I’ll pick the one that had the biggest impact in my life: Callahan’s Crosstime Saloon.
Favorite color: I’ve always been partial to green 🙂
Favorite store: I would have to say Amazon.ca regardless of what’s going on politically. I have gotten MUCH entertainment from Amazon over the years that it can’t be ignored.
Favorite singer: Dean Martin
Favorite band: The Beatles
Favorite season: Fall. Something just so “magical” in the air during that time. You can feel the energy all around… like we’re so close to another dimension that if you look out of the corner of your eyes, glimpses of it will be visible to you…
Favorite musical instrument: I can’t play any so they’re all pretty amazing for me. I would love to play the Acoustic Guitar but I think my favorite would fall to the Piano.
Favorite movie: Oy. Depends on the mood! Michael, The Godfather, Pulp Fiction, Scarface, When Harry Met Sally…
Favorite school subject: English. Make of it what thou whilt 🙂

Favorite drink: B52 shot. Dr. Pepper. Coffee. 🙂 Depends on what I’m doing!
Favorite browser: Firefox! Seriously. What else needs to be said?
Favorite TV show: Ack. One? Can’t do it. China Beach, Sliders, Quantum Leap, Babylon 5, Grey’s Anatomy
Favorite word: Guppy. I think it’s time to bring it back. “Don’t be a guppy!”
Favorite number: 3… is a magic number… yes it is… it’s a magic number… (props to whoever can tell me where the song comes from!)
Favorite quote: Life’s too short to waste it on complaining.
Favorite piece of clothing: Jeans. I wanna be comfortable, dammit!
Favorite place to be: Anywhere with my family. Sappy? Perhaps. But true. 🙂 Secondary choice? A coffee shop somewhere, relaxing with a good book, a notepad, and a coffee 🙂
