Brain Dump

All right, it’s time for another one of those Famous Friday Frazzled Rambles.

  • I’ve pretty much looked everywhere to see if a source for this quote I keep throwing around my head already exists. Since I can’t, I’m claiming it as my own until otherwise proven wrong. “The Cemeteries Are Full of Irreplaceable Employees” – Mike Aragona
  • Why is it that traffic cops or cops giving out tickets don’t even look at you when requesting id or handing over the ticket? Are they as ashamed of doing that as we are of them doing it? Do they also realize that they should be out there protecting and serving instead of going after folks who make an honest mistake like a so-called “illegal left turn” when the signs are missed?
  • Everybody’s gotta figure out the end. Jann Arden told me that.
  • My wife is the most wonderful woman in existence. I love her beyond this reality and can’t get enough of holding her. I love her so much I fear I can’t even use words to properly give justice to her.
  • Wave of reality hit me last night. Truth in its most naked form. We give up our life/time in order to make money. And then, we give up our money to save time we feel needs saving or could/should be saved. It doesn’t make sense. Why spend $6-$7 on a fast-food meal that is served within 5 minutes and eaten within 15/20. Why not take that $6-$7 to purchase the individual ingredients and feed yourself for the WEEK? Because it takes too much time? If we can waste our time in order to make money, why can’t we spend our time SAVING money or putting that money to better use/ paying off debts, etc. For example, spending $7 on a sub is nuts when you think that for $2 you can buy 6 sub-size breads. The ingredients won’t cost that much more and then you can eat all week without spending more. You don’t need soda. Water is free, tastes much better, is more refreshing, and is bloody well better for you.
  • Humans are a cowardly and superstitious lot. They also waste too much of their lives on things that are better left ignored.

That’s it for now. I have a meeting to go to.
