The time has finally come to cast your votes! If you haven’t gone to the Paradise Comics Toronto Comicon website, here’s the information you’re missing:
From coast to coast, Canada is home to many of the comic book industry’s top talents. The SHUSTERs are a way of recognizing and celebrating the achievements of Canadian creators – past, present and future. The Shuster Awards are named in honour of JOE SHUSTER, the Canadian-born co-creator of Superman. (1914-1992)
This year the awards consist of 7 categories:
VOTING RULES
VOTE ONLY ONCE (online or mail-in ballot) IN EACH OF THE FIVE CATEGORIES. Multiple ballots by the same individual will be discounted.
Mail-in ballots have been distributed to all comic books stores in Canada with Diamond accounts. If you would prefer to mail back and can’t find one at your local comic book store, you can download a copy of the ballot here:
Download the SHUSTERS 2005 Official Ballot Voting in all categories is not required.
Only one ballot per person per address. Address information is used for voter verification ONLY and will not be used for any other purpose. Paper ballots without a name and address will be disregarded. Address fields are required for online vote.
Ballots submitted with fake names will be discounted.
Voting is open only to Canadian fans. If you are a Canadian currently residing abroad please e-mail your choices in writing to shusterawards@yahoo.com along with some details about where you came from (in Canada, before you moved) and where you are currently residing.
