Here I thought the fact that it was so difficult to stay in bed this morning was a good enough indication that I should get up. After all, what with cars, vans, and trucks driving past the house from 4am through 5:30am, there was NO way I was able to be comfortable and sleep. Why the hell was there so much traffic at 4am?!?!!
Of course, I should have stayed in bed. That’s the kind of day it’s shaping up to be.
Yesterday. Now yesterday was a morning that just could NOT get started. It was probably the most miserable-starting day in my life. Until, of course, Chantale woke up. We got to work late, but with smiles on our faces 🙂
And then, work ended up being good. Busy, and crazy, but good. After work was nice and we even got home early. AND, we finally tried out our new BBQ. Mmmm… chicken breasts marinated in BBQ, Teryaki, and Sun-dried-tomato sauces… with a nice mushroom risotto and a fresh bottle of Berenger Rosé wine…. mmmm 🙂
*sigh* if today could only be HALF as good…
