This page is dedicated to our daughter Charlize Makenzie Aragona-Turgeon who was born June 24th, 2007 at 7:28am at the Lasalle Hospital. My labour with her went on for weeks and by the time I had had enough and needed to get to the hospital I was 6.5cm dilated. I was to be induced 2 days later however never made it since I walked into the hospital at 4am, they rushed me into a room and 3 and a half hours later Charlize Makenzie was born. I asked for drugs the entire time, however my wonderful daughter decided her birthday would be a provincial holiday and thus the hospital was understaffed and Mommy would have to essentially deliver her naturally. I must admit though it was the experience of a lifetime. She was born at 7lbs 9oz (3.44kg) and 19inches (48cm) long with a perfectly round head (it didn't have a chance to be pointy with the birth as it went too quickly) and she was perfectly healthy.
The only mention was a heart murmur. That one little heart murmur became the experience of a lifetime for her and our family. Charlize's Story
