I keep thinking that it would be interesting to see LJ’s usage stats over the last 5 years to see how much activity has dwindled (or if there’s been an increase of users, etc).
I know I’m still here and still enjoy having this little piece of cyber space to type away in either public or private messages, but I also know I’m more and more pulled away by “daily” issues/ items/ etc. And, admittedly, there are times I have things to share but not the desire to do so. I guess it happens with all of us 🙂
Anyhow, my main preoccupation lately (outside of the regular work and family life) is going through a reformatting exercise with my books to adapt them to Kindle. The books have recently been set up with the “Search inside the book” feature on Amazon but I must admit to not being entirely happy with the amount of pages that are available for viewing. For example, all of the Author notes are there which runs between 10-15 pages depending on the books.
Then again, it’s entirely possible that browsers seeing (and reading) the brain-matter that went into creating the main book(s) itself will decide to take a chance on it. Time will tell 🙂
