Before I get to today’s news, I wanted to post about something hysterical (in that it was both really funny AND really scary).
Yesterday morning, as we were running around getting ready for work/ daycare/ etc, I was in the bedroom, Chantale was in the bathroom, Kyle and Charlize were downstairs. Suddenly, I hear Kyle saying “Come on Charlize! Mommy, Charlize climinb stairs!”
I rush out of the bedroom to see Kyle standing behind Chantale who was, with a toothbrush sticking out of her mouth, sitting on the floor in front of the stairs, slowly reaching for Charlize who was just at the top!!!!
Kyle had removed the gate border we had at the bottom of the stairs and come up to see us, with Charlize right behind him!!! I swear to you if that little creepy-crawlie did not come up the stairs while Angels had their palms out holding up her bum… I don’t know HOW she would have made it up otherwise!! 🙂
As for today (and I’m only posting first in case Chantale can’t get to the computer until later), we went in for her follow-up Echo, ECG, and checkup… And she’s doing FANTASTICALLY WELL!! Her heart is fantastic, her growth is fantastic, her health is fantastic, and she’s quite a happy and extremely active and intelligent little baby! Do we have to go back in 3 months? No. 6 months? No. We’re only due back for follow-up in 12 months!! That’s right! We are now at the “Yearly Checkup” for her heart!! 🙂
You can imagine what this means to us – especially with Charlize about to turn 1 year old in less than 2 weeks!! 🙂 Relief, euphoria, elation… and then some!
